Wounded Warrior Sailing

This organization is also know as Wounded Warrior Sailing because the founder, Mike Strahle realized the need to create a Disabled Sailing Destination for the growing number of disabled people in America today.  Whether wounded in battle, fighting for the U.S. or just wounded during the struggle we call life, we accommodate everyone

Why sailing?  Because Mike has been a healthy and active quadriplegic for over 20 years and believes sailing has been the catalyst for his continued healthy lifestyle, he believes others can learn from his experiences.  Thus, another major mission of our organization is to promote Healthy Living and Recreation for the disabled.  Our Keynote Speaker believes:
Sailing = Healthy Living

Sponsor a Healthy Living Seminar in your area today Send Mike to give a Seminar in a Rehabilitation Center near you for a tax deductable donation of only: $2,500.00

Our Keynote Speaker Mike Strahle is not only an experienced sportsman as a quadriplegic person, he is also a World Champion Sailor and has traveled to many places around the World competing in sailing regattas.  The picture on the left is a shot of Mike and Carl Strahle racing in Sydney Australia in 1997.  Mike and Carl went on to win the regatta.  Team USA [Mike right, Carl left] on the green boat.  Team Australia blue / Team England orange
